Alexander and Dean here! Were just two normal dudes who created Nodor.

We grew up playing hockey and all kinds of other sports.

We loved the competing, the time and bonds created with friends, and pretty much everything that came with playing.

Well, almost everything...

Over time we grew to find the smell disgusting too.

If you've ever opened a hockey bag after a ice time or a tournament, you know exactly what we're talking about.

And the same goes for any other sports.

Growing up, our gear was constantly stinking up the garage.

Our moms would wash our equipment, hang everything out to dry, and try just about every spray they could find.

After washing it the smell would come back after using our gear once.

The sprays covered the smell for a few hours and came back.

It was the same endless routine over and over.

And it wasn't just at home.

We remember tournament weekends when the whole hotel room smelled like hockey equipment.

Or walking into a locker room and getting hit with the smell of everyone's sweaty gear at once.

We knew how bad it was.

But looking back, we also realized how much extra work our moms were doing just to keep it under control.

The more we thought about it, the less sense it made.

Why did dealing with smelly equipment have to mean constantly washing, spraying, and waiting for everything to dry?

We wanted something simple.

Something you could leave inside your equipment between games without adding another chore to your day.

And we wanted an alternative to relying on heavily fragranced sprays to make gear smell better.

That's where the idea for Nodor started.

A small, reusable pod filled with smell-absorbing activated bamboo charcoal beads.

You just drop it inside gloves, skates, anywhere and leave it there between ice times.

The charcoal helps absorb unwanted smells while equipment is stored.

And when it's time for a refresh, you simply replace the beads.

No complicated routine. No constant spraying.

Just a simple way to help keep hockey gear fresher between games.

Because we know that after a long practice, the last thing anyone wants is another job to do.
